As you know, the Orange County Blues Society is a not for profit organization whose mission is to assist the Blues to survive, thrive and prosper here in the greater Orange County area. We would like to be a positive source of information, education and enlightenment as it relates to the Blues Music that is considered one of America's greatest artistic gifts to the world.

Your generous sponsorship, membership or advertisement will help fund a number of efforts toward preserving the Blues in Orange County, including: Actively promoting all aspects of blues music throughout Southern California through a variety of activities.

Among these are: Publishing this website and our monthly newsletter, OC Blues News. Producing and co-producing blues music events for our members and the public at large at a number of venues in the Orange County area, including benefits for the Breast Cancer Research Foundation, the Orange County Rescue Mission to aid the homeless and Americares to provide aid and assistance for victims of the recent hurricanes as well as several benefits to aid and assist musicians in our local Blues community.

Conducting an ongoing Blues in the Schools (BITS) education program, exposing kids in primary and secondary education to the blues and its history.

And a host of other activities for the Blues Lover.
